1. Information We Collect and Why
- Account Information: When you register as a buyer or vendor, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and billing/shipping details to manage your store space and process marketplace orders.
- Vendor Verification Data: For store security, we may collect business registration details or identification documents from vendors to ensure a trusted marketplace environment.
- Device Data: We collect your IP address and browser type during login and checkout to prevent fraudulent transactions and block automated spam bots.
2. How Data is Shared Within the Marketplace
Jayasad Nexus operates as a multi-vendor connector. To ensure smooth order fulfillment, data is shared as follows:
- Buyer to Vendor: When a customer purchases an item, their delivery address, phone number, and name are securely shared only with the specific vendor fulfilling that order so they can contact the buyer to finalize logistics.
- Third-Party Payment Gateways: All financial transactions are processed securely off-site via Paystack and flutterwave. Jayasad Nexus does not store or see your credit/debit card numbers or bank pins. Paystack and flutterwave handles this data strictly in compliance with global PCI-DSS security standards.
3. Cookies and Tracking
We use standard cookies to optimize your platform experience:
- Login Cookies: Keep you logged into your dashboard (lasts for 2 days, or 2 weeks if you select “Remember Me”).
- Cart & Checkout Cookies: Temporarily save your marketplace cart selections so your items are not lost while browsing.
4. Data Retention and Your Rights
Your Rights: Under the NDPR, users have the right to request an exported file of their personal data or request the deletion of their personal information. To make a request, please contact the Jayasad Nexus administration support team. We reserve the right to retain data required for legal compliance or outstanding financial disputes.
Retention: We retain account and transaction profiles indefinitely to maintain historical sales records for both admins and vendors, and for legal or security purposes.
